The Oil Mill. Abadoned for years, it's usage had grown to occupy escapees of the insane Asylum that stood not too far from the building. Truly, the place had gone to hell, in it's time.
Batman crept inside the old building. It was dark... practically pitch black, as Batman activated the night vision lenses to pop into his cowl.
There was no sign of him. Either he had been wrong, or The Riddler had been well hidden. Which wasn't at all impossible, in a dark place like this.
Batman dediced to find out.
"Riddler...", Batman began. "Enough. You've murdered innocents. You've plagued my city. Your games end tonight."

"Batman My dearest friend. I knew you would return to the city. All I had to do was set it on fire." A disembodied voice spoke softly.
"Before we meet face to face, meet a few of my well payed friends. Bruce Wayne's Ritz fund really help allot. You're clever, Bat. I half expected you to show up at the opera. But I left small surprise for you if ya did."
Several big muscle guys emerged from the darkness to greet the Dark Knight. Big on fists, small on brains. Musk filled the air
"Oh and BTW. Why are spiders like tops?" The voice laughed.

Why are spiders like tops?" The voice laughed. Batman looked at the big men that were circling him. They weren't afraid of him. Or vice versa. But then, Riddler's riddle was proclaimed... They both spin. An easy-Batman's eyes widened, slightly. PARKER...The Riddler was going after both of them. It was a trap, either way. He had to get to Spider-Man... warn him, before it was too late. Which he doubted it wasn't. Batman leaped into the air, with a flip, and slammed a foot down, kicking one of them into the other. Landing, Batman spun, connecting his heel to one of their faces. They didn't have his training. His concentration. His- Something was wrong. Batman suddenly felt his concentration slip. Something was slowly throwing him off balance. What th-It was in that moment that Batman was grabbed by one of the thugs from behind. His arms locked behind his back, Batman watched as one thug swung at him. Ducking, Batman heard the crunch as the thug accidentally punched the thug behind him. Bolting his head up, Batman slammed the pointed ends of his cowl into the other thug's face, knocking him back and down. Slamming his foot onto the thug that was holding him's own, Batman elbowed the thug the minute he loosened his grip, before uppercutting him and sending him into yet another. Three more came Batman's way at once. Not even giving it a second thought, Batman blocked with one hand, grabbed a fist with another, and kicked the last one away. Spinning, Batman threw his leg high, spin-kicking both thugs across the face and sending them flying. Batman spun, seeing no one else. "FACE ME, YOU COWARD!", Batman growled, among The Riddler's various knocked out henchmen.

[glow=red,2,300]?[/glow]Batman looks down at the note with disgust, as The Riddler's cackles echo through the building, before crumbling it up in his fists, and tearing it in half. His suspicions and fears regarding Parker's prescence in Gotham were become all the more true, and now it was up to him to try and save Spider-Man. He wants me to throw myself into a blatant deathtrap, as he's done all night with ParkerBatman turns, running out of the building. I have to. There is no other option, at this pointBatman's return to Gotham City was turning out to be more eventful than he could've imagined.
