"Ms. Dawes, do you have any other questions?"
Rachel's narrow eyes went from the judge to the defendant. She knew he was lying, the whole court knew he was lying but no one had enough power to stop him. Rachel let out a sigh of defeat then turned on her heel to her seat
"No further questions you honor." She said as she clenched her jaw.
The court room doors flew open as Rachel stormed out of the room. She couldn't believe another one had slipped through her fingers. That was the second time this month. Rachel stopped outside of the court house trying to calm herself. Her eyes wondered through the crowds of different people in the street. Going from bums to little children chasing each other. She rubbed the back of neck and stared down at her feet. Gotham needs you Bruce...
"Rachel?" A voice pulled her from her thoughts.
"Hello Mr. Dent." Rachel said.
"I told you to call me Harvey." He grinned.
"My apologies." Rachel smirked as the two turned back into the court house.
"Lost another one, did you?" Harvey asked noticing the look of defeat on Rachel's face.
"Of course." Rachel moaned. The two walked in silence as the court house finally empty from the resent trial, "Do you remember him? How alot of things were easier when he was here-" Rachel suddenly asked.
"Oh Rachel, not him again." Harvey stopped.
"But he did make some changes." Rachel said stopping herself as she turn to face him.
"I know that and I respect him for it. But do you see him now? Where is this Batman when we need him? He abandoned us." Harvey said with disappointment in his voice.
Rachel rolled her eyes and continued to walk on without Harvey, "But I still believe in him." She called over her shoulder.
