Batman and Spider-Man landed on Wayne Tower, looking over Gotham. It felt good to be back, knowing he would never abandon it again. It looked the same as he had left it... And it would only get better, from here on out.
"Nice view.", Parker stated, breaking Batman's concentration.
Batman looked over, eyebrow raised under the cowl, slightly.
"It's almost dawn. You should head back and get some rest. Especially if you're going to take pictures of... yourself, on time.", Batman said, looking away.

"Yeah... if only I could turn back time to before when Riddler blew up the hotel I was staying in." Peter sarcastically groaned, thinking about what items of his might have been destroyed in the flames.
"Say... don't you have a...?"
"No." Batman stopped him.
"No?"
"You are NOT staying in Wayne Manor."
"Oh come on, you've got a gigantic house! You can't tell my that's just one room!" Peter exclaimed.

Batman considered it. Parker wouldn't nessacarily be a distraction if he stayed in one room. But only one.
"...If I see one strand of webbing anywhere, You're cleaning it. And I'm telling Alfred that, so don't get any ideas.", Batman eventually said.
"YES!", Spider-Man shouted. Batman turned him to him.
"...Don't do that again."
Unfastening a pouch on his belt, Batman took out his grapnel gun, and fired it out towards the city.
The Riddler was smart. If he could, he could probably work his way into getting a delayed sentance. Or worse. Batman had to make sure he'd be prosecuted to the fullest extent. His crimes were unforgivable... His sentance had to reflect that. And he knew who he had to turn to, now...
"Where are you going?", Spider-Man asked.
"To see about getting the evidence against Riddler to the right person. There are few lawyers I can trust with this, but I have a friend in the DA's office.", Batman answered.
"Can I co-"
"No.", Batman exclaimed, before leaping and swinging deeper into the city, and into the night.
He didn't want Parker interfering with this. It was too personal to both Bruce Wayne and Batman to allow a fourth party to intervene. He needed a DA brave enough to prosecute a madman who had terrorised Gotham for the past night.
As much as he hated to admit it, and as much as he wanted to delay any confrontation with her... He needed Rachel Dawes.

"Oh ok..." Peter shouted after the Dark Knight. "I'll just stay here, because I... don't really... know where Wayne Manor is!"
When no reply came he shrugged and sat alone on the rooftop.
