Figured I'd get this started, since... well, alot has already happened. This thread is going to be updated continuously, so come here if you're ever lost.
BATMAN BEGINS: ONE YEAR LATER
*The story started, naturally, with the return of the titular character. Bruce Wayne returned to the rebuilt Wayne Manor, unsure of his future as The Dark Knight.
*A call revealed that Peter Parker, known as New York's Amazing Spider-Man, was coming to Gotham. Though Bruce tried to convince him otherwise, Parker won out, getting Bruce to book him a hotel. Bruce did so, while still going through his identity crisis.
*Meanwhile, a new villian came out to play. The Riddler, a psychotic puzzler, had began his reign of crime. With the first crime being responded to by Jim Gordon, there was a riddle placed. Spider-Man, already getting into the crime-fighting routine, responded and guessed the riddle correctly, going off to solve the next.
*Harleen Quinzel, a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum, was finally promoted, to her delight. Naturally, she had no idea what she was getting herself into... But that had yet to transpire. However, there was a lurking horror behind the walls of Arkham... as Jonathan Crane had turned into the Scarecrow once more.
*Bruce, going back to the Cave, relived the moment that forever changed him. Throwing a chemical torch into a colony of Bats, Bruce was submerged in their response, being bathed in their flight. Feeling them among him, His future became increasingly obvious. The Batman lived again.
*The Ritz Gotham, a hotel owned by Bruce Wayne, was given a rude awakening when The Riddler himself appeared before it's guests, spouting off his plans for domination and sending another riddle out to the city, before setting it on fire. Spider-Man, seeing this, rushed to save the helpless victims, but failed in doing so. Passing out, it seemed the Webslinger was done for good.
*And that's when he found himself face to face with the returned Batman. Grabbing Spider-Man, Batman made their escape from the fire, before waking Parker up and already deducing the Riddler's latest riddle. Spider-Man, with his own conclusion to the riddle, decided to follow his lead. The two split to find out where The Riddler was going to strike next, for sure.
*With Batman going to the Oil Mill, Spider-Man made his way to the Opera House. What neither of them knew was that The Riddler had set a trap at both places, and the two heroes had found themselves battling for their lives. Batman managed to come out of his trap, but Spider-Man wasn't as fortunate. Getting gassed, Spider-Man was tied up and set for the next part of Riddler's plan.
*Going after Spider-Man, Batman was met with a challenge: Stump the Riddler and save Spidey from an untimely death. Though the first two times, Batman had proved to be less than stellar, He eventually gave The Riddler a riddle he couldn't solve. Defeated, The Riddler released Spider-Man, and was prepared for capture.
*Gathering the evidence against Riddler, Batman and Spider-Man disappeared from the scene, with Batman agreeing that Spider-Man could stay at Wayne Manor while the Ritz was being repaired. Batman then went off on his own, much to Spider-Man's dread... who didn't know where Wayne Manor was.
*Laying the evidence on her shelf, Batman contemplated a reunion with his childhood friend, Rachel Dawes. He eventually copped out, simply giving her what she needed as she layed, asleep, before disappearing into the night.
*With The Riddler put behind bars, and the evidence against him given to the District Attorney, Gotham finally knew it: Batman was back.
*Bruce, catching sight of this, made the decision to make his return, aswell. When brought under the question of whether he would reconcile with Rachel, like he didn't as Batman, Bruce put the thought on hold. Later that evening, Bruce was spotted with two supermodels going into a lavish restraunt, being driven there by an expensive car.
*What Bruce didn't know was the chaos across town. Killing all of the inhabitants of the Gotham City Bank, including a young teller who had witnessed all the carnage, The killer only left clues in the form of two lone Joker cards, left on the teller's eyes. Batman's greatest enemy was about to be born.
